Como Addition
Site area: 1,015m2
Approval: Complying Development Certificate
Project: First floor addition and renovations
Budget: $175,000
The family of this home required additional space for a growing family, additionally the home was tired and required an uplift. The clients had a modest budget, however a tradesman himself and contacts in the trade industry meant a good level of design and space could be achived. The ground floor received an extension to the front to accomodate a small office/study and to the rear to expand and widen the kitchen and associated deck. A centralised staircase connected the ground floor to a new first floor addition, where two additional bedrooms, a large storeroom and bathroom were added. The entire house was wrapped in new scyon cladding and slate tiles.
