Complete internal renovation of existing ground floor, plus first floor addition. The existing house had a garage which faced the secondary road, but after some conceptial ideas, the client agreed a reorientation of the garage to face the main road was the ideal solution to provide a usable driveway, and make use of the space in the existing garage as a living room which opens out onto the rear yard. A large corner terrace on the first floor opens up and addresses the street.
