Bexley Addition
Site area: 872m2
Approval: DA Approval Rockdale Council
Project: Rear addition with attached covered terrace
Budget: $250,000
Rear extension to the rear of the existing weatherboard dwelling to include large open plan dining/kitchen/living areas, study, bathrooms and large elevated deck.
The site is located in a flood effected area, with a relatively large catchment area at the rear of the site. The flood study dictated a minimum habitable floor area which required the building to be elevated considerable above natural ground level. Identical weatherboard profiles were sourced in cyprus pine to match the existing cladding.
