We are a small but busy architectural practice that solely focuses on small to medium scale projects. Our knowledge and expertise is in residential buildings. We dont take on residential work to fill in gaps between large commercial projects. Residential work is what the practice is built upon.

We get our clients involved in the design process to ensure that they are intimately connected to the project from its inception. Our designs respond directly not only to the clients brief, but also their lifestyle, habits and tastes. Our job is to harness those indiosyncrasis and reflect them in our design.
Residential design, unlike other types of project is very personal. We make the design process personal and this results in designs which are unique to every client.

We have extensive experience working with council, private certifiers and builders. Our close working relationship with consultants including surveyors, engineers, geotechs, Sydney Water co-ordinators and interior designers ensures we are able to provide our clients with a comprehensive service.

Paul Lam is a registered architect, director of the practice and has over 16 years experience working in Sydney. Having worked at a senior level at a number of Sydneys notable Architectural firms and spending countless hours on construction sites undertaking inspections and talking to contractors, he has developed a well rounded understanding of how buildings are put together. Paul is enthusiastic and has a fresh approach to all architectual projects with a passion for detailing and producing high standard quality Architecture

He established Green Square Design with a view at focusing on small scale residential work. His involvement in projects not only limits itself to the drawngs board, but extends to the construction site, where his knowledge and skill has assisted his clients throught the build process
